Lost at Sea Ring
This ring contains a natural, hand cut, mexican fire opal. I set, carved, and cast the ring in sterling silver. The design is inspired by objects dissapeared at sea and lost in shipwrecks. I crafted the silver to resemble barnacles. The color flashes appearing in the opal bring to mind sun rays reflecting off of the water surface. Look at this ring in the light to see the fire within the stone. This ring and stone are one of a kind.
I cannot guarantee that each piece of the same design will be identical.
The beauty of handcrafted jewelry is it’s individuality. One of the things that Makes Cha Metals jewelry so special is that all pieces are made from start to finish in the Cha Metals studio. Every process from casting to finishing is done by hand. This means that each piece is unique. Even when a design is reproduced 100 times; every iteration will vary slightly.
